According to Prem Balram, spokesperson for Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), the horse-and-trailer combination overturned at just after 11.30 am while transporting a shipping container.

RUSA officers responding to the scene requested assistance to contain a diesel spill caused by the crash.
Balram said the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
