amaNdebele King Enock Mabhena dies aged 65

Mabhena was appointed King of the Ndebele people in 1986, and his coronation took place that same year.

Enock Makhosoke II Mabhena, the reigning king of the amaNdebele nation, has died.

According to eNCA, Mabhena died aged 65 after leading the nation for the past 40 years.

According to the Ndebele Kingdom website, Mabhena was passionate about education and skills development.

Through his foundation, he personally made sure that more than 100 students obtained bachelors degrees.

The education foundation has seen students obtain Masters degrees as well as PhDs.
