March and March members gather in Pietermaritzburg ahead of Durban anti-illegal immigration protest
Members of the March and March movement gathered outside the Natalia Building in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday morning ahead of the anticipated anti-illegal immigration protest in Durban.

The group assembled at the provincial government precinct before departing for Durban, where the main demonstration is expected to take place later in the day.
Despite the gathering, there was no sign of disruption in the Pietermaritzburg CBD. Operations at the Durban taxi rank opposite the Natalia Building continued as normal, with taxis loading and offloading passengers and commuters going about their daily routines.

Police were monitoring the situation as supporters gathered, while authorities have urged residents to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information on social media.
