KZN repatriation bus overturns on N1, driver killed
It is believed that the driver allegedly lost control of the bus due to fatigue, causing the bus to overturn.
A bus transporting people from KwaZulu-Natal to a repatriation camp in Limpopo overturned on the N1 near Musina on Tuesday, killing the driver and injuring 11 passengers.
Limpopo Department of Transport spokesperson Mashudu Mabata said the crash happened about four kilometres south of the Beitbridge Border Post.

According to Mabata, the driver allegedly lost control of the bus due to fatigue, causing the vehicle to overturn.
“The driver has been confirmed deceased, while 11 passengers sustained injuries. The injured were transported to Musina Hospital for medical treatment,” said Mabata.
He said traffic continued to flow on the N1 following the crash, although temporary road closures could be implemented if necessary while authorities attended the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
