Sharks head to Pietermaritzburg for Currie Cup clash
The Sharks will take on the Fidelity ADT Lions in a Currie Cup clash on Friday, August 21, with the evening also featuring a curtain-raiser between the Hollywoodbets Sharks U20 side and the Toyota Cheetahs U20 team. The under-20 fixture gets under way at 4pm before the senior sides meet at 7.15pm.
Rugby supporters in Pietermaritzburg and the Midlands will have the chance to watch top-level provincial rugby on home soil when the Hollywoodbets Sharks bring a Currie Cup double-header to Woodburn Stadium next month.

A single ticket will grant spectators access to both matches.
The fixture forms part of the Sharks’ drive to take professional rugby beyond Durban and into communities across KwaZulu-Natal, giving supporters in the Midlands the opportunity to watch elite rugby without travelling to Kings Park.
Sharks chief operating officer Novashni Chetty said the franchise was looking forward to returning to Pietermaritzburg.

Tickets are available online through the Sharks’ website. Prices are R70 for unreserved seating and R150 for grandstand seating, while parking will cost R60.
A satellite ticket office will also operate at Woodburn Stadium on August 20 and 21, although supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
