South Africa’s national team have returned home on Thursday morning following their FIFA World Cup campaign, where they advanced from Group A before suffering a heartbreaking knockout exit.

The squad arrived at O.R. Tambo International Airport where they received a warm welcome from supporters.

Bafana Bafana secured a 1-0 victory over South Korea, drew 1-1 with Czechia and finished second in the group despite a 2-0 defeat to hosts Mexico.
