According to residents in the area, multiple gunshots were fired, as well as a loud explosion.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said a cash vehicle was blown up.
Two guards were attended to by paramedics.
Traffic in the area has been heavily affected as authorities manage the situation.
