Skeletal remains found near railway line in Durban
According to Rusa, the man had been walking along a railway line when he spotted a human skull on an embankment.
A grim discovery was made in Ottawa, north of Durban, after human skeletal remains were found in a bush along Pinewood Road on Tuesday morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa) were called to the scene just after 10.30 am after a passerby alerted a nearby security officer about the discovery.

According to Rusa, the man had been walking along a railway line when he spotted a human skull on an embankment.
Upon further investigation, he allegedly found a rope still tied to a nearby tree, with a bread crate lying beneath it. It is believed the person might have committed suicide.
The skull was found next to the crate, while skeletal remains were scattered across the surrounding area.

Several bones were partially covered by leaves and sand, suggesting the deceased had been at the location for an extended period.
Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery and confirm the identity of the deceased.
