Two arrested as police seize R251,500 worth of dagga
During a search, police seized several transparent bags containing dagga with an estimated street value of R251,500.
Police arrested two suspects during an intelligence-driven Operation Shanela II conducted in Upington and Rosedale in the Northern Cape on Tuesday.

According to police, members of the ZF Mgcawu District Task Team first tracked down and arrested a 42-year-old man in Rosedale who had allegedly been evading arrest. He was wanted on a warrant of arrest for attempted murder.
The operation then moved to Upington, where officers arrested a 37-year-old man for allegedly dealing in drugs.

Police said the arrests form part of ongoing efforts to combat serious and organised crime through intelligence-driven operations.
