WATCH | Five buses transport Pietermaritzburg supporters to Durban march
Nxumalo said the buses would transport supporters from across the city to the demonstration in Durban after local organisers cancelled a planned march.
Five buses carrying supporters from uMgungundlovu are set to depart for Durban on Tuesday morning to join the main march against illegal immigration, according to March and March leader Mxolisi Nxumalo.
Speaking in Pietermaritzburg ahead of the departure, Nxumalo said the buses would transport supporters from across the city to the demonstration in Durban after local organisers cancelled a planned march in Pietermaritzburg.
“We have five buses ready to take people to Durban. Some of the buses will first collect marchers from different locations around Pietermaritzburg where people have already gathered before heading to Durban,” he said.
